Free cookie editor for Chrome & Edge

The cookie editor users asked for

View, edit, pin, protect, block, import, export and back up cookies, for one site or for every site. Open source, and nothing ever leaves your browser.

Chrome Web Store listing coming soon.

Built from what reviews asked for

We went through the reviews and issue reports of a popular cookie editor, collected the requests that kept coming up, and built them.

Need to export all cookies as JSON? This extension will NOT do that.
Chrome Web Store review, April 2026

Done. Export one site or every cookie in the browser, as JSON, Netscape cookies.txt or a header string.

It would be a LOT better if you could whitelist certain cookies against deletion
Chrome Web Store review, July 2026

Done. Pin a cookie and “Delete all” leaves it alone. Protected cookies are kept too.

Worked for like 5 minutes then after I imported cookies it completely stopped
Chrome Web Store review, September 2026

Done. Long cookie lists stay fast, and every import tells you which cookies failed and why.

Everything in one small popup

These are live previews of the real extension, filled with demo cookies.

See every cookie, even the hidden ones

Looking cookies up by the page’s address alone misses some of them. Cookie Keeper also shows:

  • Cookies set on other paths, like /products
  • Partitioned (CHIPS) cookies
  • Cookies from sites embedded in the page
  • Changes as they happen, without reopening

Delete all. Keep what matters.

Pin the cookies you care about, like a login, and “Delete all” skips them. It only ever deletes the cookies you can see, so narrow the list first if you like.

Protect a cookie. Block the rest.

  • Protect a cookie and any change or deletion by a site is undone straight away.
  • Block a cookie and it’s deleted the moment a site sets it, by name or for a whole domain.
  • Edit every field: name, value, domain, path, expiry, SameSite, Secure, HttpOnly and partition.

Imports that explain themselves

Paste or drop JSON from other cookie tools, a Playwright storageState file, a Netscape cookies.txt, or a raw Cookie: header. If a cookie can’t be added, you’re told exactly why, instead of seeing “Unknown error”.

Backups on a schedule

Take a snapshot whenever you like, or every hour, day or week. Restore one with a click or download it as JSON. Backups are stored only in your browser.

Side panel & DevTools

Keep it open beside the page as you switch tabs, or use the Cookies tab in DevTools. You can turn the DevTools tab off.

Every site at once

Switch between this site, this site plus its subdomains, or every cookie in the browser.

Incognito aware

Switch between your normal and incognito cookie stores. Incognito cookies are never backed up.

Quick copy

Copy any value with one click, or copy a whole cookie as JSON.

Light & dark

Follows your system theme. Every control has a text label, and nothing animates.

Safe exports

A clear warning reminds you that exported cookies are live logins, a common way people get tricked out of their accounts.

Nothing leaves your browser

Cookie Keeper has no servers and makes no network requests. Your cookies stay on your device, and the code is open so you can check for yourself.
